Ahh... I am still not getting it to work!!!!!!! lmao at least i can listen to my music... well windows 98 worked fine for you? Well hm it asked me for driver for PSP A and I couldnt find one!!! I tried several things but decided just to use Linux i had since it worked fine. O well

Ok i found out something very depressing... Linux was the problem! I went to school and hooked it up to the XP Compys and the mp_root folder didnt show!! WTF!! o well it still showed that the memory card had used data and if I reconnected I could see the MP_ROOT folder but only under linux apparently?!?!?! O well at least I have an idea of what went wrong.

Well it seems that I CANT add folder, but I can add files through Linux DUNNO WHY?!?!?! But it works fine now when I sued XP oh well thqanks for the help and this may be of some good use

I tried a vid from connect.com and it worked fine for me with the c in the file name and all. I tried a totally different vid (the others were from a series) my friend gave me and it worked fine too. I think it may be the vids I was trying to use were bad. I dunno. Very odd. He gave me some odd .avi files I may try to re-encode.

luper, I don't know much about linux but I know on a mac which is unix based you can have invisible files that are unseen under normal circumstances. I had to hunt down some crap that filled my HD completely so I could get rid of it. Could you have created the folder on the linux box as one of these folders?

you could be right, I figured it was a hidden file but I am not a nexpert in that field... uh... well when i get home today I'm goin to upload a few more files from Linux in the pre-existing folders made from XP and see what happens... I just formatted the stick yesterday to remove the invisable folders.

I foudn an addon from pspnetwork or pspsite or something .com that has a fix for Windows 98 machines to easily accept PSP... I havent tried it yet (just found it a min ago), but I'll try it sooner or later and if it works I'll post the link.

PS: ALL the videos I've downloaded so far work good, I just compiled this anime I have (initial D) and it works (gotta re convert b/c the dang resolution makes it look too squary).
