Check the side of the box with the barcode. then tell what letter is on it.

Could it also be on the instruction manual?On the front of mine, on the bottom right, there are some numbers, and after the numbers, there is an F.

On mine, it says: 2-657-883-11(1) F
Yes, the 2 "1"'s are bolded on the front of the manual.

EDIT: Nevermind. I asked my mom if she could charge it so I didn't have to wait tomorrow, and I looked at the box. I have 2.01....

hey guys I just got a giga pack today. its black. its version 2.0 with an F on the box... I think all giga packs are 2.0, but dont quote me on that. all I know is that mine has F and is 2.0

by the way, the sticker that seals my box looks really ghetto,,, its a small peice of clear tape. anybody have this also?

i just checked the side of the box that i bought on launch day and it doesnt say anything where the letter should be. Although there is an "A" where the "K" is on the example up there ^^^ kinda wierd...

Of course you would know what firmware it is by now.
My was "G" and I was really looking forward to buying a 2.50 PSP.
Mine is 2.01 and I need to update to 2.60 [not really, just want to].
I was wondering can you use the browser at a local hotspot?

EDIT: Stupid firmware updates...making us update for the newer games. Are there any games that include the 2.50 update? This is sooooooo confusing!

i know what it is, im just saying that my box doesnt have it. if ive had it for almost a year i think id know what the firmware is. :wink:

If it's a US launch PSP without an indicator letter, then it would be a 1.50. That is covered in the "guide".

Unfortunatly not. My friends sister just got a Giga Pack for her birthday, and it came with 2.5. However, that was a UK PSP, I'm not sure about the US.

yea ive had 2 giga packs the first one was 2.0(F) and the second one which i currently have was 2.01(G)
