Can I tell what firmware my PSP is ? - Page 5 - PSP Forum

Hi there, Im stuck mines says its system sorftware ;version1.50 but Im mega new to all this and I dont know what the firmware is or even where to find it! I cant get it to play games but thats not to say if I downloaded 1 I wouldnt as before I fullishly formated it sombody did have a game on it and it did play, but me being a complete novice I dont even know where to download a game. any help would be much appreciated.

How do uninstall the latest firmware 4.05 on my psp -2000,ive got problems with my start button and sony said on the phone to me just restore the the system and backup all your data...HELP ITS DRIVING ME NUTS

Dude you can't uninstall a psp's firmware .

Also can you buy a custom firmware psp from the shop or do you have to buy a 1.50 and upgrade it yourself???
i got mine from ebay was only about 2.01 version and i was upgrading it till it was taken to 3.70and than i thought to make it cfw but it was too high of a version anyway i found a hack and then downgraded it and put the cfw 3.90 m33-3 on it now i download all games its boss....lol...
