Low Price PC suggestions
I'm looking for a pc of my own now since my parents get all paranoid and think that each time i download crap its gonna give us a virus. It's pissing me off, i'm allowed to buy my own computer so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. What should the specs be? I will be using it for probbably just surfin the web, downloading/uploading movies and music. That's basically it. I'll probbably just going to buy a used or refurbished one off ebay, so all i need is some spec's so i don't end up buying a peice of shit.
Here are my main concerns:
What Brand? (I don't really care, I just want to know what brands are known having lame pc's)

What processor speed?

How much ram?

I'm not sure maybe 200. I'm willing to spend more though, if need be. BBut i will try to stay on that budget or lower.

Ok go thorugh tigerdirect.com they are really cheap....

Get atleast 512mb of ram
40gb of hardrive
and atleast 2.6ghz..


But go with tigerdirect.com i have ordered from them and they have great prices....
