This is a place to post the real Specifications of your Computer [Using the Control Panel -> System Window] , along with anything that wasn't posted in text form. To take a screen shot of your Control Panel -> System window, do the following. Go to My Computer, or the start menu, and click "Control Panel". Then navigate within the control panel to "System". Once the window pops up press "Prt Scr" (AKA Print Screen) and open up Paint. Click the outlined box near the top of the lefthand toolbar and right click a white space. Press paste and then go to file -> Save as. choose the name "Specs" or something similar and change the "Save as type" option to JPEG. Save, and upload. Please do not use anything but JPEG as the filesize will be too great for 56k users. Only Posts specs and talk about specs here. ANYTHING else will be deleted by me.

Originally, this PC had the following specs:

I have 1 side fan blowing in, 2 rear fans blowing out and thats it. my el-cheapo case ($45) keeps my CPU at 42C idle. I'm using the stock Intel hsf.

I used to have a Rosewill 9600 overclocked to near XT speeds, but it fried. I miss it. Had it not burned, I wouldn't have replaced it with the X700PRO.

I'm thinking my next upgrade will be either an X1900XT or a second DVD+-RW. The X1900XT shows how far away I see myself from uprading again. :lol: My machine serves me fine. Its great for encoding 1 hour MPEG-2 files into 200MB mp4 files in 14 minutes using the ATi Avivo Converter (ATi card owners only guys :wink: )

I just felt like building something, so I built this last one. I'm amazed by the huge speed difference between the Celeron 2.4GHz (Northwood) and the Celeron 2.4 GHz (Prescott). Higher fsb, new architecture and 2x more cache I guess really helped it a lot.

I have a Kodak C310 Digital Camera, PSP and Motorola 730 phone. My old Sony Clie T-415 stopped working a few months ago, but with my PSP and phone, I don't really need a PDA anymore.

Alright mine sucks compared to your compters.

This is my personal computer that I use most often (Internet, homework, instant messaging)

The only thing I have modified is install a 512 stick of ram to boost it up a bit, it was at 256 so now its a 768.

My gaming pc upstairs:

I rarely play with this baby, except for a few games of farcry and doom3.

Now for my laptop.
It's only for school, I take it with me so I don't have to use the school's crappy systems that havn't been updated in 10 years.

I have 2 more laptops that stay at home and are used for homework and internet useage. They are similar to my laptop.

I also have an ergo that I recieved for free because my brother used to work at 3com.

The only thing it can do is surf the net, it comes with a wireless keyboard.

I mounted it in my mom's kitchen so it can be easily acessed for a quick email check.
