Lol, no need to leave me alone. I'm hear to answer your questions. And GTA:LCS requires 2.0 to play and I believe that burnout requires 1.5 so you could play both on a 2.0 system.

Yes you can upgrade as many times is nessesary. But you can only downgrade when there is a downgrader available.

what a downgrader and what affects its availability...im sure its used for downgrading ........yeah?

Its a program required to downgrade your PSP from 2.0 to 1.5. And I think that this is the only one available right now. But soon we might be seeing a 2.5 to 2.0 downgrader and I believe that many people would enjoy this one. But like I said as of now you cant downgrade from 2.5 so upgrade only after your sure you want it.

Does it matter what firmware I have for UMD movies and
Does the soft case that comes with it help? Does it scratch the screen?[Dang, I am a noob.]

No it doesnt matter what firmware you have to watch UMD movies, I believe that you can watch any movie on any version of firmware.

And the soft case, from reviews, does prove to be a good case to cary around in your pocket and its good to start with. But later on when you need a better case most people go with the PGP (Play Gear Pocket) look in the PSP accessories forum for more information on this.

Because on the 1.5 system you get much more homebrew apps.

this thread has answered a lot of questions for me and the third post in the thread wanted it to be locked

for it to be locked would be a waste of potential knowledge which makes me annoyed
