PSP Hack

so ive had BF:1942 world war 2 anthology for a while but it messed up a couple weeks ago...so i uninstall it...i try and install it again...i put in disk 1 and up to the installsheild wizard it downloads to exactly 20% then stops...and says.."specified component cannot be foud in the media. An attempt was made to access a component that does not exist in the named media"....what do i have to do to fix this?!?!

please help and i give and early thanks to who ever does
*edit* oh and the 20% part it is on is when it is at "C:...EA GAMESBattlefield 1942modsbf1942archivessound.rfa"

Try uninstalling the game again. By the default uninstall program and the add and remove programs feature.

Restart your comp and try to install again.

Try system restore.

make sure all mod files for the game are deleted from your comp aswell, they may not be deleted when you unistall.

damn...well nothing worked...ive tried every thing...but now i think it may be scratched to much....its not scratched all over but there is one big deep scratch on disk one so that may be the prob...thanks anyways

No problem, you could always get one of those things that buffs out the scratches on CDs.
