1) READ REVIEWS - most annoying question is when people ask if a game is good. They assume first off that people who have played the game frequent this site enough for them to get an answer in a timely manner. For the best collection of all PSP game reviews use Metacritic.
2) PROVIDE INFO - alright you read reviews and yet you still find yourself confused with no real idea of what you want to purchase. It is very important that you provide us as much info as possible about your general likes and dislikes. If you simply ask for recommendations you could very well get recommendations from people who have very different tastes as to what is good and what is bad. Perfect example is how I, myself, don't like Syphon Filter games and probably wouldn't recommend it based on my dislike.

There are a few rather displeasing qualities to video game testing, but then again, they are necessary evils for a job such as this. For instance, when testing a video game, you may have to play a single level over & over & over simply to locate all of that areas bugs and/or glitches. As I said, this may be displeasing and even a bit boring, but it's nothing most gamers can't handle.
