Rep Power: 0 | hi, I have a Jap PSP and am currently running firmware 1.50.
Will retail games from the high street stores in the UK run on this firmware, or do I need to upgrade to 2.0?

Rep Power: 0 | Some of the newer games out require you to upgrade past 1.50, but there is an exploit to make the 1.5 look like 1.52, allowing you to play any game available.

Rep Power: 0 | If you buy a white PSP, it will be 2.0, but sony has announced earlier that upgrading your firmware WILL NOT void your waranty, so either way you're fine. | |
