| More Prayers needed
I havn't been around he forum that much over the last few days..... got kinda busy. After a great night of drinking at this dinner dance and getting home and 2 in the morning...... i was awoken to the sound of my older sister crying........ I asked her what happened and she told me that my uncle ( Dad''s only real brother.... he has a few half brothers ) has a massive heart attack and is on life support. so last night me and my sis dropped of my parents at the airport for an 1130pm flight from vancouver to toronto. My sister and myself would have gone but we both have a bunch of midterms too do and my parents told us to stay behind. Now im not asking u to pray for my uncle's recovery because it's already too late his kidney's and liver have shut down and there's nothing that will get them working again. They are most likely taking him off life support today and letting him die. When i heard the news i was shocked, and my household was immedietly sad, lots of tears. I was the only one not to cry which is understandable because i was only 18 months old when i had met him so i never had any memories with him. my sister has stayed at his house for a week or two a few years back and she had developed a strong relationship which him and my cousin. What made me sad for the most part was seeing my Dad in that state. He's gone through alot of things which most people would find unbareable. his dad died right after we left Portugal to get married. him mom died 10 years ago from throat cancer, his oldest half brother also died from throat cancer. He himself was told he had throat cancer but it was false. My uncle who just died almost died about 6 years ago from a daamaged liver due to excessive drinking. He was hit with a backhoe and almost killed at work and has been on compensation for 4 years now after breaking his ribs and tear ligiments in his shoulder, and now his brother dies 2 years after his half brother dies. I ask you to pray for my family during this rough moment of our lives..... and all the stuff i havn't said but causes us alot of pain.
