Please dont turn this thread into a flame war over "soccer" and "football". Everyone knows that soccer is what its called in America, and everywhere else in the world calls it football. Either name your fav. player like the thread topic suggests, or dont reply. Now, that being said, I dont have just one fav. player. There are a number of players that I've learned a lot from:
Sir Stanley Mathews
Pele
Ian Rush
Kenny Daglish
John Barnes
Jurgen Klinsman
Diego Maradona
Thats to name a few. There are a lot of awesome players, past and present, that I could name in that list. These are a few that I grew up, learning their techniques, training methods, etc.
