Hello all. I have pre ordered a Dissidia PSP Bundle (my first PSP) and am trying to get some accessories to go along with it. I am interested in getting the AV cable to be able to play the games on my TV but I'm confused as to which one to get and also if it will even work on my TV.

To my knowledge the PSP 3000 can be hooked up to almost any TV and it will all work fine. Does that require a special cable because when I do searches on ebay for them they all say compatible with 2000/3000 and not just 3000. Also I have read that you need a TV with progressive scan to be able to play games. I have a HDTV that is Widescreen and it is 1080i, so does that mean I have progressive scan?

The cables are going super cheap on ebay like 4-5 bucks with free shipping and even though that won't set me back much I don't want to buy one only for it to not work for me. If anyone can set me straight as to how it all works I would greatly appreciate it.

you have to get the right cables cos one cable just allows you to view pictures music and videos but no games and im sure the cable will work fine on most tvs

I'm researching this out myself and the only cable I had experience with didn't work w/ my PSP.
