It looks ALOT smaller, and I hate how the playgear is bulky.

it's slim but the metal looks kinda cheap... the color makes it so I guess...if they plate it white-silverish or pure black (not the metallic black) it would look a lot better. I hate how the face plat is at the bottom though, that might hinder some more physically active players.

Actually it won't the face plat can move 360 degrees so you can just put is under the back plate. That face plat is on the bottom for better USB access. The metal is pure alluminum painted black. There is also a non-painted silver one.

I prefer the playgear due to being able to skin it. And, I may be mistaken, but it appears the Brando case opens downwards, so you cant use the lid as a sun shade.
