I just got this for 15 bucks from best buy. It says 20 hours of extended battery life, but after charging it all night i take it to school the next day and when my psp battery begins to die i plug it in and let it start to charge. About 40 minutes after letting it begin charging it runs out of juice and wont charge, after only charging my psp about half way up.

Has anyone else had this problem? what should I do, or am I doing something wrong, because i charged it from 10 last night till 6:40 this morning.

probably omething is wrong with the charging wire.

try charging it again, if the same thing happens go back to the shop for a replacement and if that one doesnt work then get somethin else

okay, ill try chargin it up again, but i was soooo happy that i had extra battery life...im gonna be sad if i dont get it to work V_V

Yeah, if it doesn't work just take it back. If they don't exchange it, then get really bitchy with them.

i think i figured it out, could it be that i cant have the psp battery in the psp when using the external battery? because i tried that and it seems to last longer, not 20 hours by any means, but way more than 40 minutes...im thinking the fact that it was powering my psp and trying to charge my battery made it waste energy, could that have been the problem? or should that make no difference?

I wouldn't have thought it would make a difference. But I honestly don't know. That wouldn't be a very good product if you had to remove the battery to use it.
