I have a 2 gb memory stick pro duo i got for 2 Christmases ago and it got thrown around in a move and now my psp wont read it....i put it into my computer and at first it said there may have been a problem with it and asked if i wanted to scan it or not, i said yes.

Now i can see all the data on my memory stick fine on my computer, but the psp still doesnt see it.

Now before you ask i have 2 other memory sticks and one of them had this same problem, i did the exact same thing with it, but the psp DOES recognize that memory stick.

Is there a program i can get to format it on my computer because sony says it may harm it if i do it from a computer.

If you want to know how i did it i put the memory stick into my computer and formatted it from my computer, then i put it into my psp and formatted it again from there

P.S. my cheap dad bought me a fake sony 2 gig stick lol after formatting it says 1939 mb and on my comp it says 1.89 gigs
