I was wondering if I would be able to use a micro sd card with an adapter. the micro sd cards with the adapter is cheaper and they are more widely available

I was posting a link with this but i cannot because i do not have greater than 10 posts. Just type "8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo Combo" in amazon if you are not sure what i am talking about.

Only problem i can see is that i cant see if those adapters are the exact size of a reg duo which i would need to find out.

I wouldn't trust Amazon to buy that big of memory card because I ordered a 16GB one and it was a fake. But what your asking is, I think it's possible but I'm not 100% sure.

I am sorry if this sounds mean, but that is not answering or assisting in my question. I've ordered from amazon and recieved plenty of fine products.

I was trying to provide an explanation of what i meant not for people to judge amazon.

I also agree that i think it works but not sure. dont wanna waste money on a maybe :-/

Hows that sounding mean lol I was just saying that you shouldnt always trust buying electronic things online unless its from the main companys website. But cant answer for sure.

I didn't really think it sounded mean but most people would generally take it offensively if you deliberately tell them that what they said wasn't really retaining to the information needed

the memory card question i dont see why it wouldnt work if its got the correct adapter then it should be fine dude

I know it will work, you just have to get the right adapter. there is one out where you can insert two micro's and use them together.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no 8gb memory stick offered by Sony. The ones you are seeing are most likely from third-party manufacturers.

Although they may very well work just fine, using them could potentially void your warranty that came with your device, and since you don't know exactly where it's coming from, there is always the risk of it damaging your device.

Just look for reviews and you should be alright.
