Hi, I have a PSP 1001 that I haven't used in a long time. The last time I used it was about 2 years ago and the firmware it has on it is 3.90. The last time I used it I was attempting to make a pandora battery and failed by cutting into the battery. I need the battery to update the PSP to a more recent firmware to play Birth by Sleep.
All the stores I've been to don't sell PSP 1001 batteries so I asked a friend if I could try out his PSP slim battery but when I put the battery in it shows that it's charging but when I go to battery information it says 'battery source:external' and has all the the other categories blank. I really need to update the PSP because I spent $50 on this game and am starting to get pissssed.
btw the battery is a S110 slim battery
