Rep Power: 0 | PSP HEADPHONE AMP Whats up PSPeeps !! Well i was getting tired of the poor sound out put of my psp so i made a headphone amp and put it in an altoids tin . all i can say is that it is a much needed big improvement and the sound is amazing depending on ur headphones. the stock psp ones couldn't handle the power so i went out and bought some sony mdr-v150 's (walmart $20) and man they thump!! but then today at work a freind brung in his sony mdr-v600's (he paid over $100 for these i don't know where) and they thumped a little better than my v150's but remained crystal clear all the way to full volume with my amp!!! the sound is so incredible that i'm thinking about spending the hundred or so bucks but thats a lot for headphones!!! well if any one is interested in buying an amp from me let me know cuz i'm going to make a couple up and i'm working on a better case than the altoids tin. price will be around $30-$40 and i'll post some pictures up so you can see!!! well thats it. just want to say that my psp now ROCKS!!!!!!! and so can urs! |

Rep Power: 0 | I have a pair of Sennheiser HD600's and I got a Samson S-Amp just so I can get max performace from it.
High-end headphones (ie, Sennheiser & Grado's) require allot of power to drive them. |

Rep Power: 0 | high end headphones dont require more power.. they have a higher impedeance than what the psp is capable of working with. they were not really made for the psps tiny amp which is why you need an external amp to drive it. |

Rep Power: 0 | the remote alone (well with those stupid headphones) costs about 25 bucks. you could just use urs and hook up the amp to that. |
