Hi guys,

There are plenty of skins and covers for the PSP as it is in the market. Now that the PSP has been around for almost half a year or more, people have been messing around with the look of the PSP simply to make it more cool looking, or enhancing its embedded functions.

How about a replacement faceplate? Something that will give every PSP owner an option to choose between destroying the warranty and getting a PSP color of his choice ; and keeping other options (of skinning/casing) in the bag..

Now that many people have tinkered with the PSP, there is really an established and foolproof method of disassembling the faceplate without too much difficulty. Using the right tools and given the right instructions, a changeover can be done by even a newbie. The PSP isn't equipped with tamper-proof technology which shuts down the system so the only problem you'll have to face is a voided warranty.

I'd get one, if I didn't have to order it from the net. What about platic ones that you can buy at electronic/game shops?

Id consider buying one, depending on the price. And I would have no problem at all buying online. Sounds like a great idea to me.

This would be a good fix for people who have scratched or otherwise defective psp screens as well.

faceplate would be cool, we could have white PSPs before the people in Japan get them. it would be a pretty cool way to customize it.

maybe if sony makes some like officail faceplate changer dealers that will change your faceplate and sign the warantee or somin.

Screw the warranty. If you bought an in store warranty, you're covered, they wont check the sticker, if not, you didn't really want one in the first place.
