Fancypants

I have a psp 1000 & removed the faceplate. When I replaced it my analogue wouldn't work any more. A little piece of silicone fell out when I removed the plate which I believe is important. I put it where I thought it went ( in the right size gap over the four gold connectors ) but still the analogue stick doesn't work.

For example on GTA my man just runs in a circle & I can't move him at all. The directional buttons work on it though. When I attempt to pick a country on LittleBigPlanet with the directional buttons it keeps going to the bottom left country I cannot make them stay on another flag it shoots straight back down to the bottom left one. Any ideas?

That happened to me when I replaced my analog stick. You need to look for some guides with pictures that show where the missing piece is supposed to go. The function of the memory stick is dependant on everything being in the right place and the amount of pressure you use when screwing the faceplate back together. The screws need to be very tight. Until you figure out where everything goes it will never work right again.
