how to make fifa 11 psp work on gen b 5.03

All was well with my psp until i updated to cfw 5.03 gen b.

My psp is a psp 3002 and when i try to play fifa on (UMD) it keeps saying the game could not be started error code 80020148. I am not a noob and i know that the umd mode must be in normal but i also tried the others (m33, sony 96hing and ofthing) I have also tried deleting flash 1.

Also i have tried with recovery menu disableling and enabling the configs in advanced menu. Finally i gave up and downgraded to gen a and hit a snag.
THe problem was now there to.

So i went back to mhu (cfwe 3.6) and now it was there 2. The prob wasn't there before and now it is. Any suggestions cause i really want to play my games in cfw. Also i have tried ripping the game and playing the iso and that doesn't work. And yes the game works cause i can play it in ofw 5.03.
Please someone im really getting desperate and am willing to try anything.

EIDT: i have also reformated my psp in ofw, and deleted flash 1 but obviously nothing has fixed it.

forums.pspslimhacks.com/tutorials/2482-using-yoshihiros-game-decrypter-v4-w-screens.html is a link to a page that has everything you need to patch those games to be able to run on your system including files and a tutorial with pics. Just patch your games with the decrypter and they should work fine. I usually keep my system clocked at 333MHZ but for smackdown vs raw 2010 it wont run unless speed is set to default.

I have tried to decrypt but it fails and says i downloaded something illegal

And anyway the new 5.03 gen b patches the system firmware to make it think its 9.90 so ALL games will work. I'll try with the game clock but any other ideas??

EDIT: Some aditional information, after i click on the game there is the normal sony start up thing then there is a black screen (like normal) But then there is a red screen just before it goes back to the xmd and the error pops us.

Ok just to update you guys, It now works on GEN A BUT NOT Gen B, So for the momement I am just switching between the two, if anyone has a perm fix please share.

Well Im running 5.50 GEN-D2 on my slim so I dont know what would work on a 3000 system because they cant run that yet but you can try messing with the umd driver mode. Most games work fine using the "No UMD (m33 driver)" option so you can try messing with that and see what works best for you. Since I updated to 5.50 GEN-D2 my system does the red screen thing too but the games start fine after it does that and it doesnt kick me out to the xmb and im using the no umd m33 driver option.
