Can I ask a question as am a bit stumped – I don’t want to fiddle or download things without knowing what I am doing is correct as am not really technically minded and as it is my son’s PSP I do not want to break it !!
Basically I bought a game for my son’s birthday, Renegade Sqd – a Star Wars game – which seems to want the PSP to be v3.52. From what I can gather it is v3.40 so I assume I need to upgrade it somehow? The manual that came with the game says follow “on screen instructions” if system needs upgrading but these never seem to appear. I assume the upgrade is actually on the game disk but getting it off there into the PSP seems to be beyond me.
When my son tries to play it the game it delivers a message along the lines of “could not play” and shows DADADADA which I guess is some sort of error code?
Do I find an upgrade from the internet and simply download it (is it as easy as that?) or is there a permanent problem here?
I’m sorry if this is all very basic but son would love to play this game and would really like him to be able to access it – he’s having a rotten time at school so this would cheer him up
Thanks for any help.
Mike
