Total noob. I just wanna learn how to connect this PSP to puter,got USB cable but it won't connect to PSP

Have you put your PSP in USB mode ? At the menu, also called the XMB, scroll all the way to the left. Then scroll up or down until you see USB Connection. Highlight that option and press "X". Make sure your USB cable is plugged into your computer and PSP.
