| Multiplayer/Wireless connection guide
This is a guide to set up your multiplayer on the PSP
1. Check on the game's box if it is Infrastructure ot ad Hoc. If it is adhoc only, you cannot play online. For Infrastructure you can.
2. get a wireless router.
3. Setup the router on your computer
4. on your PSP, go to Settings (leftmost on the home menu) then the lowest one.
5. Choose Infrastructure. Select "create a new connection"
6. Name your connection. Prerss ->, then select Scan. Select your connection from these. If you have a WEP key, input it on the next screen.
When you are done, press X, then go to Test Connection to test it.
7. In your game, select the Multiplayer function, then Infrastructure (or somethin). Create a Gamertag (any will do fine, then the game will ask if you want to register it).
8. Go play! Make sure to stay within the disance of your router's signal.
The connection can also be used for the wireless browsers (2.0 or Homebrew).
Ad-Hoc
Make sure you are close to another person wity the game
Select multiplayer
Have another person do the same
Create a game
Have them join
Go! make sure to stay within 10 m of each other
Game Sharing
On Burnout Legends, Namco Museum and some other games, there is a Game Sharing option under multiplayer. While one person selects this, the person without a game goes to Game>Game Sharing. Wait until connecting, and play! |
