| PSP 1004, need help.
Hiya, I have a PSP-1004, so one of the older models, and it had been working fine. Just lately, if the back is tapped, it would freeze the system and the screen would just mess up in the sense it will just go into loads of vertical bars that resemble the colour of the screen and then going from left to right, it will turn white, 1 bar at a time. Last night whilst I was listening to music on it, I just heard a loud bang. I wasn't sure what it was so I just left. I lifted up my psp and put it to my nose and could smell a burning. I immediately switched it off, took the UMD out and I could smell something burnt out. The thing is, it still turns on, it still charges when turned off, but when the psp is turned on, it will charge intermittently. It is fully de charged, I put it on to charge (with great care) and the orange light shown as normal but if I turned it on, it would change between green and orange every now and then. Also, the screen works but 9 times out of 10 it doesn't. Does any one have any ideas.
