I have recently purchased a PSP GO for my son, I feel like throwing it our of the window just now :-/
I cannot get it working because I cannot set up a master account as he is underage, I cannot set up the account because the network is constantly showing 'undergoing maintenence try again later'

Cant send an email because I dont have an account!!!!

I have spent in total 28 mins on hold to Sony with no joy and got so hacked off i hung up !!

I am going to have a very disappointed 8yr old in 2 weeks if I cannot get this sorted, can someone please tell me what is going on and why a multimillion pound company's customer service is no better than the local Kwik Fit !!

yea sorry i know. thier network went down. its slowly coming back up. I spent alot of time with the pspgo and i just couldnt get it online long enough to do anything with it. id say why not take it back and get the psp3000 slim bundle with games. we did and we like it. also u can hook it to ur pc with a usb cord install media go, which u should have with ur psp go, and download games to the pc then transfer them to the 3000. so i guess u got him a go so he can easily go without losing disc. but if most games are on ur memory card, the psp3000 memory card, then u dont lose disc. if u have a pc with internet try emailing support or calling them again. I spent sometime downloading games with the psp 3000 and trust me that was no picnic either i had to make a whole new email because thier dang network still isnt working. oh and on the network like load up the regular network on the pc's exploerer pick a game, get the network cards at the store first to get games, then let it load media go to download them so u dont have to use ur credit card. best wishes
