| PSP internet access via PC not router Hi there,
this will be my first post on these here forums, but I've been modding my PSP for a while, wouldn't say i know alot but i know enough....
Firstly sorry if I posted this in the wrong section couldnt decide where to put it. Secondly a little background, My PC is VISTA home, it has 3 network adapters (wifi, ethernet cable, bluetooth - and the modem comes up as a network even tho its connected via usb, but i do have the option to connect via ethernet). my computer can use the wireless card just fine, connecting to next doors network... Anything else you may need to know just ask....
As for the PSP its 5.03 m33 cfw, Slim v1 and TA-085 motherboard but i dont think that rly matters, it should do this on ofw... I used to have sky and such connected to the internet using a router it worked fine and still does using next doors
I CAN CONNECT USING REMOTE JOY USING NEXT DOORS NETWORK - even tho its mega slow and has 55% signal most of the time.
NOW.........
I want to use ICS to share my net access to the PSP using my wifi built in adapter! infact feck ICS anyway even homebrewd browsers idk just get me online!
I have tried simply following the wizard to create a "ad hoc" (this is NOT an ad hoc for the PSP, its meant to show up as a router to other devices) network on the PC, it does it but i cannot connect or even detect the network! then when I click ICS on it sez NO! and even doing it manually in network properties it wont enable FFS!!!!
I've asked all over and no1 seems to know how... but ive also found people who said they did what ive done and it worked first time! IDK whats wrong please help me! i miss online gaming on the PSP
