So..... I have a psp 1001 phat with ver. 4.95? Firmware. (whatever came right before 5.0) My psp hangs on the start up screen and for some reason no one seems to know what the problem is. I'm pretty confident that it's not bricked because this has happened before and I somehow got it to load normally several more times. But, now after I downloaded firmware version 5.0 it just started hanging again. I haven't installed it yet, just downloaded it. I used to think it had something to do with my umd reader not working but auto start is off. Is there a way to make it load from the original configuration. It seems to me like there's just a problem with the software and if I can make it load from the original software it'll work???
