video question - PSP Forum

Hi,
I havent used my psp since I've bought it,thought I now play around with videos/tv shows etc...I have firmware version 1.5
I was having problems watching video trailers that I downloaded(sony site-Ultraviolet,believe its already in MP4 format).
I thought I was doing it right,then I did that setup on the website psp.connect.com. The video played fine. So I have no idea why its not working. Have the MP_ROOT> 100MNVO1(sample video)>100ANVO1(ultraviolet teaser trailer)..and when I look on psp,shows the sample/tutorial video,but not the teaser trailer?
It's probably something simple,but not sure what it is...
Second question. Can I run a application from psp. I was wanting to use a program called: Power Tab Editor 1.7. Its a music program that shows ya what notes/chords to play on songs,songs are in midi files I think.
Its an old program not sure any inspiring guitarist knows anything about it..Would I have to upload the songs to song file,and application file to something else or is this a impossibility??
Thanks for any info..I'll try rereading manual and play around with it.

If you have a 1.50 PSP, you don't have AVC support. You should only need the 100MNV01 folder. So it should look like this:

F:/MP_ROOT/100MNV01/M4V10006.MP4

So, I cant view those trailers/videos? anyway to view them or can I just put those files in the MNV one and rename? thnks.

You have to name them like F34R did and then put them in the spot he said

I couldn't get that to work neither? Not sure what I'm doin wrong.
The original files were named MAQ98653.MP4/MAQ98563.THM in folder 100ANV01. So I put those two file in 100MNV01(which my sample video I tried is at,not sure how many we can put in one folder)..
So now I renamed MAQ files to M4V98653 respectivly.
Well, that sort of worked( I was typing as I was trying it on other computer...
Now I got This video cannot be played. The data type is not supported?
I even upgraded to 2.6firmware? so, Im not sure now
