This is a HUGE misconception about homebrew.
You can do so many other things besides play old games.
You can run other applications as well.
Try looking through the Hacks forum to see a TASTE of the many applications a 1.5/2.0 PSP can run.
You can always downgrade/upgrade back and forth easily, so don't worry about losing GTA.

Not much, an emulator is < 1MB, and the rom sizes vary depending on the system.
Just dont request for roms here.

Never upgrade past 2.0. Many regret it, and 2.6 homebrew, IMO, royally sucks.

Although 2.0 can do much homebrew.
1.5 can do all, and easier too.
