"The main problem with the game, though, isn't whether the wireless plays through walls, or if the mixing and matching of DarkStalker eras provides balance issues, it's that the PSP D-pad hates you. Less responsive than a standard Dual-Shock D-pad, and slipperier than most bars of soap, merely trying to keep the glassy portable in your hands while trying to wrestle a fireball out of your characters can be quite the task. Forget about half-circle motions, those are even worse. Where it gets ridiculous is when you try to perform a dragon punch motion using a strong punch (situated on the L-trigger). Thankfully you can adjust the controls, and move things around, but it's still far from optimal for 2D fighting. " |
