Rep Power: 0 | GTA LCS MP3 Playing Thread - Workaround On Page 1 Okay, so after much speculation and rumor, the answer has been anounced. Apparently, R* has it's own converter, which is essentially a modified "Exact Audio Coverter" program. This program will only use music from CDs that haven't been burnt. Well, we have a surprise for them. There's a workaround. Using EAC PSP Edition, which will be posted at the bottom of this post, you convert your MP3s to .toc, and rename the extention .toc to .gta. Then, put it in the save folder for the GTA Music.
***The report that you get it in a Donald Love mission was false.
If anyone makes any more threads about this, they will be removed and 50 UMDs will be taken from you for not reading the other threads before asking questions. |

Rep Power: 0 | Lol. Good idea. Get read to start taking UMD's from people. With the large amount of "spam" threads being created in the past couple of days, you are sure to enforce this one lol. |

Rep Power: 0 | But how does it happen? Like the guy, in an italian accent goes, "Leo, you can now put your custom songs and play them during the game." Or what? |

Rep Power: 0 | I just read on another site that the function isn't operational per a call to Rockstar. They said it will be with a future update though.

Rep Power: 0 | Alrighty then, here's an "official" response from Rockstar...
I found this posted on another forum.
"Ok, spoke with a nice chap named Daniel...says they didn't decide to put the feature in until the last minute, after hearing the positive response from fans about it. Danny boy says the developers are working out a way to implement the feature, which will most likely come in the form of a download from the R* site. He said to keep checking the R* site, or call back to get updates...but that it shouldn't be very long. So that's it, we finally have an answer. Now we know that anyone claiming to have accessed the Custom Soundtrack feature is full of it.
If you'd like to call R* and ask them yourself (because for some reason, you may not trust me), here's the number: 1-866-405-5464." |
