Socom- How to create a Username? - PSP Forum

I was going to post this on the Online Gaming subforum but decided to post it here since it's so n00bish. This is my problem, when I atemped to go into Infrastructure it ask's me to sign in with a Username. I type the name thats the same of my gamesave and enter a password. It then says that it's invalid and to try again but doesn't give me an option to create one. Where do I register a name and password? Sorry if the answer is on the booklet that came with the game, but I don't have it.

You should be able to enter any usernsme/password, and if it doesn't exist it'll prompt it to be created. Try a different name.

you are doing it right trust me just hard to find one that ppl hvnt used or not allowed i had to try like 20 different names

2 days after Socom came out, someone had already taken Joystick, so I had to use Joystick1. bastards...

Get this...I'm such a dumb noob and didn't read that manual so I deleted my save game after numerous attempts to make a username/password. Thinking that it had something to do with it. Still didn't work, finally my gf tells me to read the effin manual and it clearly states in there that if you get an error message it simply means that the username has been taken. I can't be bothered to play through all the missions again.

lol..i thought i lost mine too because i click new capain by accident but i restarted and it was all there!
