You might of guessed by my post count, that I am very new to this forum, so please forgive me if this should be somewhere else.
I am english, and over here in England everything is a rip off. The psp go costs £220 ($350.553 USD) If I was to buy it off an american site the console itself would only cost me about £150, so im now im pretty convinced now to get one shipped. I understand now that games are not bought thru umd, rather they are downloaded. How does the region lock affect this? Can any english person with an american psp go tell me if it works or not? Also, I understand I'l need an adaptor to charge it up and everything, but that doesnt matter.
One last thing, I owned a ps2 but never a psp. So there are a few games I would like on it that have been released along time ago, can anyone tell me if the following games can be downloaded from the psp go's store?
1) Daxter.
2) Rachet and clank: size matters/secret agent clank.

I do not know how the region code will affect you, it might not since the games are not on disc but downloaded instead. Region coding usually only affects physical discs.

As to playing ps2 games, don't count on it anytime soon. Not until they allow for more ps2 backwards compatibility on the ps3. I would be exponentially upset if I could play ps2 games on my psp go and not my ps3.
