Rep Power: 0 | DVD to MP4 via PSPVideo 9 or 3GP Question When I go to convert from the backup of the DVD that is on my Hard Drive to MP4 format via either of the converting programs. It will go about 5 minutes and than I get a message about my windows virtual memory being to low and than the converting of the DVD backup than stops and I get a error message. I have 512mb RAM on my computer if that matters, is there a setting in windows that I need to change that I am missing. I know crap about computers so any answers would have would have to be written so I could understand them.
Thanks in advance,

Rep Power: 0 | you can change the page file (virtual memory) size on your hard drive by going into control panel and clicking on the Performance and Maintenance link. Then select the System icon. IN the resulting popup click on the Advanced tab, then click on Settings in the performance box. in the resulting box, click on the advanced tab, click on the change button in the virtual memory box, select custom size, and change it to about 1GB. hope that helps. |

Rep Power: 0 | Even after changing it to 1500mb I am still getting that message and error. I checked and the max is now set at 1500mb so I did not mess that up. It did seem to convert a little more(maybe 10% total) before I got the error this time do I need to raise it even more and what would be the most I could raise it to without screwing up my system.
p.s.
The DVD I am trying to convert is the How the Grinch Stole Christmas cartoon DVD and it says it is 60 minutes long. |

Rep Power: 0 | hmm... how big is your HDD? if its something like 200GB, then you can set the page file size to something like 20GB, but if you have like a 20GB HDD then you're out of luck. |
