Rep Power: 0 | Emulators..........Already out there? So Master posted that he is working on an emulator for the PSP. But what about the video of the emulator on this websites homepage (the one with nintendo playing Zelda). Is there already some emulators out there that people know how to aquire for this thing? |

it might help you to read the above mentioned posts before making a new thread...but just so you know, there is no known emulator out at this point - that emulator of the zelda game is a fake as far as we know |

Rep Power: 0 | I did read that post and that was based on info from one guy. I was seeing if anyone else had heard of anything, especially after seeing that zelda video on this same sight Genius. And from what I saw, that video looked pretty legit to me. |

Rep Power: 0 | I don't think it's fake. The camera is so shaky and shot at an angle so as to rule out the pasting of the image over the screen. Now, is it a doctored movie that is playing on the PSP? possibly. But I don't think it would really be that hard to do on the PSP. If its fake, maybe it'll inspire a real one to be done (due to overwhelming response). The PSP is definately powerful enough to pull it off.+ |

It's just too soon for the emulator. |

Rep Power: 0 | Remember that this thing came out in Japan three months before coming out here. And people here have been able to get it over EBay or Lik-Sang or some other importer a couple days after that launch. It seems like people forget that all the time. The fact that you can upload and download large executable files onto the memory stick make it even easier to do a hack like this. |

Rep Power: 0 | Yeah but since this guy is the only one reporting and there is not even a beta download..I would say fake.
Also others would have hacked out an emulator by now if it was possible. |

Rep Power: 0 | look, there is no emulator other than the official one made by sony which only major developers have when they get the sdk.
The NES emulator video:
Fake...heres proof...14 seconds into the clip the camera changes, meaning he basicly edited the bmp in the saved data of one of his games so that it showed a pic of the 'NES emulator'. Then when it reaches 14 seconds he pauses the camera, while we cant see whats going on he selects a movie file from the memory stick, unpauses the camera recording, and plays the mpeg movie of Zelda......also, if you pause the video on the 7th second and look at the text covering the picture of the nes emu you can see it actually says 'wipeout pure'...
another thing, the zelda vid was an april fools |

Rep Power: 0 | That is a fake-probably needs to come off the home page, but thats defenders call. Dont need to re-post all the details of why.
