I used to be part of this forum a few years ago but then sold my PSP. I have bought a silver slim and lite PSP running 4.05 and I would like to install CFW on it.

PS. I found these steps... Would they be the same for the slim and lite PSP?
go to pspslimhack website and download chicken r2 and Cfw enabler and 5.03 offical firmware. If you cant find the files pm me your email and ill email them to u.
1.Put chicken R2 in the photo folder (there will be 2 folders 1 for fat and 1 for 2000 and 3000, use the fat folder)
2.Now download cfw enabler and put that in your games folder.
3. Go back to psp go to photo and then chicken (Dont load up anyphotos, if you are struggling there are utube tutorials on chicken)
BTW it takes alot of attempts to get chicken to work, first time it will freeze alot. To help have no umd in and restore defult settings
4.If successful Chicken rR the psp will restart by iteslf. Now goto games folder and open CFW enabler.
5.You will now be in Custom Firmware.
6. save ISOs and CSOs to X/ISO
(X is teh drive letter, probably different for you. The ISO folder must be in caps and you have to make it)
