| how to play Ridge Racer with 1 umd for multi play...
It's simple, even noobs can do it!
1. Start up Ridge racer in PSP 1 and go onto multiplayer and set up a match.
2. When the "waiting for other players" screen comes up, take out the umd and put it into PSP 2.
3. On PSP 2, click join game.
4. On PSP 1, the other PSP's signature will appear. click ok to start. You will then need to select a car.
5. Because the car selection requires 3D graphics, PSP 2 must select their car and then put the umd back into PSP 1.
6. PSP 1 can then choose their car and start the match.
7. PSP 1's game will load successfully. after the race intro, a message will appear saying something like "waiting for other player".
8. Now, take out the umd from PSP 1 and again, insert it into PSP 2.
9. The match will now run successfully, and PSP 1 will be able to play without a umd, as the match has already loaded - cool huh?
You can do this with more players - obviously I don't know if there's a limit, as I have yet to come across 200 PSP's in one go!
Just repeat this process for each match. It works with Wipeout Pure too - give it a go, the setup is practically the same!
Sorry if I have made any mistakes - I don't have 2 PSP's, so I'm relying on my memory to type this up.
So far I have tried it with both Wipeout Pure and Ridge Racer. However, one of the games I tried (can't remember name) didn't work and froze in the process, so just bear in mind that not all games work. If it does freeze though, simply restart the PSP and it'll be playable again.
