| Question about Flash I was messing with FileAssistant 0.04 and I went into my PSP's flash. It's a 2.6 and I thought it was impossible to go in it but anyway. It had two directories :
PSP BIOS 0 (ReadOnly) - flash0:/
and
PSP BIOS 1- flash1:/. Which brings me to my first question.
Does that mean that I could write to BIOS 1? Beacause it doesn't say ReadOnly.
I didn't really want to try so all I did was copy some .bmp files from it to my photo folder. I even found my custom wallpaper. The original one I used wasn't the PSP dimensions, it was a desktop wallpaper for PCs but the one I found in the flash was cropped to 480 x 272. Which is my second question.
Since putting a custom wallpaper writes to the flash, could there be a similar exploit to the 2.0's TIFF? Like a messed up image file that will make the flash easier to access?
These are just somethings that came to mind while I was messing with this. |
