So basically my psp is a 1001 and i originally had the like 1.5 downgrade or something with kernel. i dont know much about this i had my friend do it but i wanted to play god of war ghost of sparta but i wasnt able to on the hacked one so i did update my psp to v. 6.31 so can anyone help me with this to be able to play newer games for the iso files but hack the psp. i have a pandora's battery and i have a 1gb flashcard

Get 6.39 PRO cfw.

Upgrade to ofw 6.39 download here PSP Official Firmware 6.39 - OFW 6.39 - Downloads

Make sure to put that eboot file here PSP/GAME/UPDATE<-----

You will have to make the UPDATE folder.

Then get 6.39 pro-b9 here Pro.zip

Move the cipl flasher to your GAME folder. Ignore the fast recovery folder.

When your firmware is 6.39, run the cipl flasher, then press "x". You will be sent back to your xmb.

Done. Now you have 6.39 Pro. If you need plugins, well ask me by using the link in my sig.
