i ahve 2.6 ive been waiting for homebrew (except using GTA) i know tahts not gonna come out any time sooon. so should i give up my 2.6 for 2.71? give me ur comments and tell me wat i should do plz

Never upgrade. A mod chip is coming out soon that will allow you to use homebrew on any firmware, nothing is worth upgrading for in 2.71 anyways. I still don't why people do it.

The only reason I upgraded is because
1.) If there is going to be a modchip to make homebrew playable on a psp that costs almost as much as a psp then why not upgrade? (Notice I didn't say anything about it nto being capable with new psp's as of like October 2005 or sometihng like that)
2.) Im never going to get GTA unless its free....so yea the idea of homebrew is pretty much down the dran on my psp.
3.) Flash games WHich one is better, no homebrew at all or flash games???

you should stay, 2.7 doesnt have any homebrew yet, 2.6 has the SNES, NES, DGEN, GBC, and hopefully soon a payable N64(current one is slow) and a playable GBA(too slow to play as well).

ya get gta its a good game and u can get alot of actually good homebrew.... like nintendo, super nintendo sega genesis, pretty soon a full functional n64 emu, there actaully pretty fun to play and they look identical to the actual system

IMO: Don't forget about what F34R said, those who wait, masturbate! If you don't get GTA then I would so update, thats what I did since I knew I would enver get GTA unless someone gave it to me for free or traded for a game I didn't like.
