Since the current PSP is wireless but it seems few people have a wireless connection...is it possible to get a USB ethernet adatper to work?

Ehh... not yet but if enough people complain about it on the Sony forums they might release a firmwire for it. =P

Of course some god hacker could try it.

Few people? Actually quite a large percentage of households are WiFi equipped now.

"Will Cheek, an analyst with Parks Associates, says the two LAN technologies are approaching parity, with Ethernet representing 49 percent of households and Wi-Fi in 37 percent. What’s more, says Cheek, is that Wi-Fi was only at 8 percent three years ago. While he suspects that some of the shift is due to cannibalization, Cheek says much of it is greenfield based on the sheer growth in the number of households installing home networks."

So roughly 18% of all households are WiFi equiped? Doenst seem like thats such a big percent.....Would seem logical for them to release something for USB internet.

yea i think they should release one for usb too(i have wi fi but when im at a friend's house u no)

wifi just makes it more portable, using an adaptor would take away from that portability.

Maybe the next firmware will have support for that, maybe a patch from 3d party?
