Here is a clear video clip of the 1.5x and 2.0 (Yes 2.0!) PSP firmware downgrader in action from WAB and PSP-Dev. Not only have they found a way to downgrade 1.5x firmware but now 2.0 firmwares also qualify for a downgrade! 8)

The video is very hazy and it LOOKS like(can't be sure) they didn't change the firmware version.....This video could be just to show that they got past the unsigned code check. Or, it could be that the current version is too buggy right now and he dowsn't want to brick his PSP.

Use a program like winrar to extract...then you need the divx codecs

there was a recent discovery that programs in the folder "UPDATE" act differently...He might be using this to trick the PSP into thinking it was a firmware upgrade when in fact it is a downgrade.

...but,only time and this downgrader will tell
