Homebrew Downloads (Minor Update, 01/31/06)
Okay, since I was going to do the "Ultimate Homebrew Guide" (Which was scrapped because a lot of people thought it would lead to chaos in the threads) I started downloading some of the more popular homebrew apps and games. I decided, since so many people go off-site to look for homebrew apps, why not just have them here? So I grabbed some of the more reputable and popular files, and am going to upload them here, so people can find them a bit easier. All of these files are hosted on this site, for your downloading pleasure.

If anyone has any more files that they think would be good here, send me a link and I'll upload them. Please don't upload your own in this thread, as it would get all cluttered.

PSP Firmware v1.5


Homebrew Games

Quake I Direct Port
- Go Here for Hollaz2Alex's instructions on how to install.


Callisto v0.1
- Side scroller, space adventure. One of the best homebrew games available.


DOOM For PSP
- The game "DOOM" modded to work on the PSP


PSP Duck Hunt Emulator v0.0 Beta
- NES Duck Hunt Emulator


PSP Millionaire 1.07
- A "Who wants to be a Millionaire" inspired PSP Game


PSPRevolution 0.1
- A DDR Clone for the PSP. Includes 6 Songs to start you off.

Homebrew Applications


MPH v2.0 -> v1.5 Downgrader
- The downgrader file to downgrade from v2.0 to v1.5 firmware. You must also have the v1.5 eboot file. Updated to a more stable verion (v1.0) 10/04.
Remember: You must disable your antivirus program or the overflow.tif file will not show up. It is not a virus or trojan, but because it delves into making the PSP do something it wasn't meant to do, it is seen as "bad". It is NOT a dangerous file.


SXT Firmware Loader v1.00
- A firmware launcher. See here for details and firmware files.


SXT's PSP Version changer (Emulates 7.50)
- Emulates other PSP firmwares to play games that require higher than v1.5. Updated 10/16 to include SonyxTeam's 7.50 emulation upgrade. You'll almost never have to upgrade again :thumbsup:
(Does not work with: GTA:LCS, Socom FTB, The Hustle, King Kong, The Sims 2, Raw vs Smackdown 2006)


PSP-PDA
- file manager, notepad. and more LATEST VERSION


PSPersonalize v1.0a
- Background changer, use 300 x 170 BMP files only


SeiPSPTool
- An ultimate Homebrew tool, helps to get rid of "Corrupt File" icons and more.

Great Idea. I will be downgrading to 1.5 soon and would like to get into homebrew/emulation. It would be good to have a short description of what each porgram does next to each one for those that are new to the game.

That PSPPDA works pretty nice. I put it on my psp earlier today, Has calender, notebook, calculator, picture viewer, file manager, allows u to play music while ur using the other apps too.
