My psp system software says i am at 3.52 M33-4 yet when i attempt to update to 3.71 (using this tutorial http://my.afterdawn.com/larrylje_red...entry.cfm/2323) the updater says you must have 3.52 M33-3 or higher which i do. what am i doing wrong?

Stupid question, but you are 100% sure you are at 3.52 m33-4? (have you tried to get the 3.52 m33-4 update and run it, making sure it says no update needed?)

Also, make sure you did this step correctly-
"Rename the 3.71 EBOOT.PBP to 371.PBP and place it in the UPDATE folder that was extracted from the 3.71 CFW file above. "

I have a same problem with "TheIndianGuy", and i'm sure 100% i'm are at 3.52 m33-4, i had try to re-update 3.52 m33-4 and still have a message " this update must have 3.52 m33-4"
after re-update my psp i can't save to memory stick while playing game "Naruto" (system hang) so what should I do ?

Im not really sure what you mean, but if you are at 352m33, there is 3.80 m33 out now, you may want to try that. It is by dark alex also, and you can still play isos and homebrew.

I got this message. I was on 3.52M33-4, and wanted 3.80M33, but it wouldn't let me.
My solution was to get 3.71M33, so try that....though that seems to be what you're doing.
Try updating to 3.52M33-4 again.

ok, at last, problem solve, cause by game folder does'nt set run on 3.52 kernel at recovery menu, now i have 3.71 M33-4, i think i won't update to 3.80 M33, not much different from 3.71, thanks all for the reply
