HI everyone
how do i tranfer my dvd movies to my psp. do i need a 1 or 2 gig memory stick duo and which one is the best one. please help me anybody

2GB is better than 1GB but its up to what you can afford

you will need a DVD ripper to get the VOB files, i recommend DVD Decrypter, this is a great guide from one of the mods on how to use DVD Decrypter http://www.pspforums.com/forums/about11590.html

you then need to convert these VOBs to MP4, you can use a free program called pspvideo9 www.pspvideo9.com
i recommend you use this quality setting SP/Movie (2 - 2.5h), its good enough for the PSP screen but stands up to scrutiny

depending in whether you convert to SP or AVC the MP4s go in separate folders

the SP MP4s go in (x)/MP_ROOT/100MNV01/M4V10006
the AVC MP4s go in (x)/MP_ROOT/100ANV01/MAQ10086

also, since imdave didn't mention it...you NEED a DVD BURNER first of all!! thats pretty important to have if you want to transfer your dvd's :D

why would you need to burn the dvd if you want ti on your psp :?
