Thats what I thought, but after converting a bunch of stuff I had to throw that out the window.
Example was converting Incredibles. Said to hell with it I'll put it at the best resolution. See how it looks. Once it finished converting I noticed the audio was off. So I started scanning the movie to see when I lose the sync. Most of the times it happens half way through the movie or sometimes by the end. With the Incredibles it loses it early on in the movie. Where not talking the 5 sec dely either. Anyone who has seen the movie, my file loses sync right after the first couple minutes where they're doing the interviews. Once the screen fades and the Incredibles logo pops up thats it my file loses the sync.
I tried on basically all the settings but still had this problem. I also have this issue when I try to convert Old School. It always happens when the dean is on the stadium seats getting the student body president to help him kick the guys off the campus. No matter what setting I use it always happens.
You mention the angles issue, I converted SW ESB and had absolutely no problems with this one. Encoded it once and it came out perfect.
Just resignd myself to the fact that maybe not all movies can be done. Does't make any sense to me either.
