Rep Power: 0 | UMD Movie vs. Memory Stick Movie What do you think is better? (ie quality, sound, ect)
I perfer memory stick, you can format alot of different things, change screen size, fps, all that good stuff.
On the negative side though transfering movies is a pain in the butt, and memory sticks are expensive. |

Rep Power: 0 | While I enjoy the memory stick. Quality and sound issues I have to say that the UMD movies are better. There's no worry of having to sacrifice quality or anything like that, to fit the movie on a card.
A disappointment with the UMD movies imo is the fact that they don't have chapter breaks, which doesnt make picking a movie up from where you left off that easy. |

Rep Power: 0 | UMD, the memory stick is not 100% reliable. Since it works as a flash memory, data loss can be expected if used constantly in conjunction with music and video files, but game saves should be ok. |

Rep Power: 0 | quality wise the umd's are boss but even after you consider the cost of memorysticks and the process of converting to mp4, i know i will not be buying any more umd's unless its a movie i cant copy from dvd as some have difficult encryption to crack like house of flying daggers the only umd that i have bought. and youm get better battery life from memory stick movies because there aren't any moving parts on them oppossed to the umd's which have to spin wasting precious batt life! |

Rep Power: 0 | hm well... cost wise.. LONG TERM.. memory beats UMD only short term does UMD beat memory stick... so keep that in mind that the UMD costs will build up. You can put like 2 movies on a 1gig stick at $150... and thats about 10 umd movies about... BUT really.. think about this...
Replay value on a UMD is nill. I have a few and I dont watch them twice, the screen is too smal for more than two people to convienently watch it (with a GF or something)... meory stick you can keep adding new content, UMD is a paper weight(well bad exmaple.. its like .00001 lbs lmao)...
----- conclude---
UMD are really good bc quality and may be worth the money when your trying to impress someone or when you want to share it with friends *if* they ahve a psp (saves money).. Hell its a good thing to easily trade with others!
Memory sticks are really good for shows/series and movies that arent too long and basically things that you can download (cough cough the big Pron0)... cant trade easily , have to download takign forever... a must for the things you CANT get on umd.
thats my 2Cents |

Rep Power: 0 | The main reason im so fond of memory stick movies is because they are free. You dont have to buy each movie individiually. |
