| Unbricking Help Please I have a PSP with the following specifications:
It is a PSP-1001.
It has a TA-079 Motherboard.
I have used despertar del cementerio v8 to make a magic memory stick and I have a service mode battery. Both of which have been tested and used to unbrick another PSP-1001 successfully. However, when I use the service battery and magic memory stick in this PSP instead of booting to the despertar del cementerio menu, it boots straight to 5.00 M33-4 recovery menu from the memory stick. Now, when you exit the recovery menu it loads the firmware from the memory stick and you are able to use the PSP as normal, i.e. run homebrew, use wifi access and even play a UMD game. I have ran keycleaner and idstorage manager and both have verified the idstorage is perfectly fine. As well, as I have been able to do a nand dump. However, it won't install anything to the flash of the actual PSP. I have also attempted to use Hell Cat's Recovery Flasher 1.5 from the M33 recovery menu and it continually freezes on the first screen that shows the disclaimer. Without the magic memory stick though it just performs like a bricked PSP when attempted to turn on, and nothing is being written to the flash of the PSP. Any help any would could give would be appreciated I am open to ideas. |
