which is not what you need at all, what you need is a router
something that looks more like this..
Right now if you do have that, then your broadband cable (and only broadband cable) goes into the back of this router..you then turn on your router and your ready to go...
for your pc you need alot more steps, but for your psp, you just set up a new network connection..
